BOGOR – PT Aspex Kumbong organized a medical check-up (MCU) for its 675 employees on July 9, 10, and 13, 2026. This was part of efforts to maintain and strengthen PT Aspex Kumbong’s safety and health management system (OSHMS).

The event, held in partnership with Kenari Graha Medika Hospital in Cileungsi, is a preventive measure that identifies potential health issues associated with work activities and the work environment. Through check-ups, employee health can be monitored, and occupational illnesses and non-communicable diseases can be detected early. From this, the medical team and company can determine the best precautionary action and treatment.

Nunung Nurzanah, PT Aspex Kumbong’s representative, said that regular health screenings are a key component of the company’s strategy to cultivate a healthy workplace.

“This screening enables us to gauge the health status of our employees and detect issues early. The results will help us establish work health plans and necessary follow-up actions,” Nunung said.

The event featured general and specialized examinations, the latter of which was tailored to each job’s risk level. Employees working in noisy areas, for example, underwent audiometry assessments, while those prone to dust exposure were given spirometry.

“Each work area has its own health risks, and that’s why we don’t only conduct general checks,” said PT Aspex Kumbong’s HSE Staff Maulana Fahmi. “We customize the tests based on what each employee is exposed to at work, like noise and dust.”

The entire screening process was well-organized and maintained confidentiality in line with health service standards. Participants had the chance to consult the doctors from Kenari Graha Medika on their examination results and health status. These results will inform PT Aspex Kumbong’s health map, health plan, and follow-up measures for employees requiring further examination. (AK)
